Putnam earns F&M Bank appointment

GALESBURG - Lori Putnam has been appointed assistant vice president, retail banking, at F and M Bank's Henderson Street location.

Putnam will be responsible for originating consumer, equity and mortgage loans, as well as assisting small business and consumers with deposit accounts.

Putnam offers over 20 years of banking experience, primarily in mortgage and consumer loan origination and underwriting. Her experience also includes the supervision, underwriting and management of lending functions for multiple bank locations within west-central Illinois.

Putnam is a lifelong Galesburg residents and also serves as assistant treasurer of Kiwanis Club, a member of the YMCA board and an active member of Western Illinois Builders Association.

Wood, Stromson join Prim-Rose staff

GALESBURG - Jodi Wood and Cathy Stromson have joined the staff at Prim-Rose Hairdressers, 160 W. Losey St.

Wood brings 25 years of experience as a cosmetologist. She also serves as a part-time cosmetology instructor at Carl Sandburg Cosmetology School and is a technical trainer for Loreal Professional. Wood is a member of the Chicago Cosmetology Association and the National Cosmetology Association.

Stromson joins Prim-Rose as a hairdresser. She has 32 years' experience in roller sets, blow-drys, perms, color and highlighting.

Cree joins staff at CMC Clinics

MONMOUTH - Barbara Cree, PA-C, has joined the medical staff of the CMC Clinics.

Cree is a certified physician assistant and is certified in advanced cardiac life support.

Cree received her associate's degree from Victor Valley Community College in Victorville, Calif., and her Physician Assistant Certification from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D.

Cox named manager at Wells Fargo Bank

MONMOUTH - Pamela Cox has been named store manager for the Wells Fargo Bank office in Monmouth, 100 S. Main St.

"Pamela's extensive management and sales experience, combined with her proven leadership ability, makes her a perfect candidate for this position," said John Winston, president of Wells Fargo Bank, Galesburg. "We are extremely pleased that Pamela has agreed to this leadership role in Monmouth."

Her family is active in motocross racing and Galesburg Christian School.

CMC's Dr. Padgett attends conference

MONMOUTH - Community Medical Center's Dr. Robbie Padgett, Monmouth, recently attended the 17th annual U.S. Psychiatric and Mental Health Congress in Las Vegas.

At the conference, Dr. Padgett attended educational sessions presented by leading professionals and researchers in the field of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

The speakers presented programs covering several areas including treatment modalities for ADHD and diagnostic criteria for children and adults.

Padgett is board certified in family practice. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a clinical assistant professor for the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. Dr. Padgett is also the coordinator of the CMC Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Clinic, serving patients of all ages.

Johnson earns honor at Miller Dredge

GALESBURG - Jan Johnson has been named Employee of the Quarter at Miller Dredge Insurance.

Johnson was selected for the honor by her peers. Her knowledge has been invaluable during this time of transition in the Medicare field, and her clients have benefited from her knowledge and expertise in Medicare Part D. Johnson has been employed at Miller Dredge for 15 years.

Northgate's Snell attends seminar

GALESBURG - Chris Snell, personal trainer for Northgate Racquetball and Health Club, recently attended the AFAA Personal Fitness Trainer Certification Conference in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The three-day seminar provided an overview of Wellness and Prevention, Fitness Assessment, Cardio-Respiratory Programming, Muscular Strength-Endurance-Flexibility, Nutrition and Weight Management, Communications Skills, Kinesiology and Weight Training, and Resistance Training Business Aspects.

Northgate Racquetball and Health Club has been a Division of Azer Rehab Systems, P.C., a provider of outpatient rehab and sports medicine, since September 2004.
