Shame on protest group

Editor, Register-Mail: I have long admired the presence and influence Knox College has had on the Galesburg community.I am especially proud of the Knox students who organized the counter protest during the funeral for Kyle Wehrly. As a father of a gay son, I am particularly sensitive to the bashing of homosexuals.
Shame on the "church" whose members felt that this funeral was an appropriate occasion for such an outrageous protest. - Jim Treash, Galesburg
