Wilcox speaks at bankruptcy seminar
GALESBURG - Attorney Pamela S. Wilcox, a partner with the Galesburg law firm of Stoerzbach, Robertson, Wilcox and Alcorn, P.C., recently spoke on the subject of "Conversions and Dismissals" at a consumer bankruptcy seminar in Peoria, sponsored by the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
The seminar was a continuing legal education presentation to update practicing bankruptcy attorneys on the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005.
Wilcox, who was selected as an Illinois Super Lawyer for 2007, has practiced consumer and small business bankruptcy for more than 18 years in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of Illinois. She has been board certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification since 2001.
Wilcox is a graduate of Southern Methodist University Law School.
Dahms speaks on cardiac rehab
GALESBURG - Russ Dahms, MS, director of Cardiology Services at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, recently spoke at the national meeting of the American Association of Cardiovascular Rehabilitation. The event was Oct. 18-21 in Salt Lake City. This year's conference attracted more than 1,500 cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation specialists from across the United States and 10 foreign countries. Dahms' speech was on exercise prescription and maintaining staff competency in the cardiac rehabilitation setting. Dahms is a fellow of AACVPR and serves on the national certification committee. He has worked at St. Mary's for three years.
Flowers qualifies in financial planning
ALEXIS - Country Insurance and Financial Services agent Bob Flowers of Alexis is now qualified to offer clients expanded financial planning and investment management services.
Flowers completed a certification program combining classroom sessions and personal study to obtain the Investment Solutions Representative qualification. As a result of the training, he can provide clients with access to Country financial services, including retirement planning, investment management and trust services.
