GALESBURG - Jeremy D. Smith, 25, no address listed, was sentenced to four years in prison with credit for 64 days served Thursday in Knox County Circuit Court for burglary. A charge of resisting a peace officer was dismissed.

- Kami J. Jones, 28, 1027 Lyman St., was sentenced to four days in jail with credit for time served and charged court costs for forgery. Two additional counts of forgery were dismissed.

- John C. Bennett, no age listed, Avon, was charged $203 for a fireworks violation.

- Shabrell Coleman, no age listed, 369 Harding St., was charged $165 for failure to register an animal.

- Charges of aggravated battery and resisting a peace officer against Stephan R. Valladares, 28, 306 N. Jefferson St., Abingdon, were dismissed.
