GALESBURG - Darin T. Hall, 40, 940 E. North St., was charged $1,444 Tuesday in Knox County traffic court for DUI.

- Michael T. Perdue, 23, Brimfield, was charged $512 for improper lane usage. A charge of failure to signal was dismissed.

- Ty W. Bledsoe, 17, Pekin, was charged $95 for speeding.

- Charged $75 were Paul J. Huels, 63, 1128 Tamarind Drive, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident; Kathleen Effertz-Harger, 44, 1814 Cornelia Road, failure to yield; and Amanda J. Lamb, 18, 507 S. Broad St., Knoxville, loud stereo.

- Alan S. Edwards, 41, North Henderson, was charged $55 for failure to wear a seat belt.

- A charge of operating an uninsured vehicle against Joshua G. Johnson, 30, 1010 Kellogg St., was dismissed.

- On Monday, Penny M. Bradford, 39, 205 E. South St., was charged $836 for operating an uninsured vehicle.

- Catherine A. Godsil, 46, 925 W. Dayton Drive, was charged $481 for failure to stop at a train signal.

- Daniel I. Mobbs, 17, Peoria, was charged $375 for speeding.

- Courtney N. Morean, 19, Pontiac, was charged $290 for speeding.

- Georgia McLaughlin, 44, 149 Indiana Ave., was charged $290 for speeding in a school zone.

- Randell J. Lynch, 49, 1028 Island Ave., was charged $242 for disregarding a traffic control device.

- Christina M. Ahearn, 25, 499 Hawkinson, was charged $239 for drivers view obstructed by too many passengers. Two child restraint violations and a charge of no valid driver's license were dismissed.

- Amy M. Myres, 30, Coal Valley, was charged $230 for speeding. A charge of improper lane usage was dismissed.

- Daniel R. Eiker, 17, Gilson, was charged $230 for speeding.

- Katherine M. Morgan, 37, 336 W. Willard St., Wataga, was charged $195 for speeding.

- Gary G. Anderson Jr., 41, 134 Lakeland Drive, was charged $195 for speeding.

- Ronald D. McNeeley, 46, 349 W. Brooks St., was charged $128 for failure to wear a seat belt.

- Anthony L. Morris, 36, Hammond, Ind., was charged $77 for speeding.

- Charged $75 were Demarco L. Washington, 33, 193 Pine St., disregarding a traffic control device, and Colonel L. VanWinkle Jr., 36, 403 W. Adams St., Abingdon, speeding; Samuel G. Weintraut, 19, Silvis, speeding; Robert A. Hartness, 72, Decatur, speeding; Annette M. Churchill, 21, Erie, speeding; Kurt D. Tisdale, 43, Morton, speeding; Patricia J. Cratty, 78, 452 Edwards Ave., failure to yield; Daniel M. Swanson, 23, Cambridge, improper lane usage; Kenneth R. Knox, 23, 928 Brown Ave., failure to yield; and Justin C. Lefler, 16, 119 Knox Highway 31, screeching tires.

- Charged $55 for failure to wear a seat belt were Taryn L. Bush, 22, 678 Home Blvd., and Derek J. Kreps, 23, 368 W. Douglas St., Knoxville; Tony C. Plack, 19, 90 N. Gilson St., Knoxville; Blake A. Hans, 23, 931 Lincoln St.; and Steven J. Shryack, 24, 1235 Knox Highway 25.

- Charges of operating an uninsured vehicle against the following persons were dismissed: Richard L. Waldorf, 28, 993 N. Kellogg St.; Andrew C. Wilkins, 25, 264 Walnut Ave.; and Ronald E. Folger, 40, 758 E. First St.

- On Friday, Stephen J. Fergusson, 47, 990 William Drive, Knoxville, was charged $2,286 for reckless driving. Charges of DUI, improper lane usage and failure to wear a seat belt were not prosecuted.

- Troyel L. Cambpell, 20, 461 Monmouth Blvd., was charged $837 for operating an uninsured vehicle. A charge of driving with a suspended license was dismissed.

- Kandis M. Bonner, 25, Peoria, was charged $256 for driving with a suspended license.

- Dennis S. Gray Jr., 17, 853 E. North St., was charged $203 for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

- Charged $75 were Donald J. Fontana, 28, Galva, speeding; Kent W. Maurer, 21, Urbana, tinted windows; Lance D. Peterson, 17, Oneida, tinted front side windows; Lucas C. Shofield, 17, 105 Country Elms Estates, disregarding a traffic control device; and Jeffrey T. Grady, 21, 1095 Blaze Road, Knoxville, stop sign violation.

- Charged $55 for failure to wear a seat belt were Kelly L. Scott, 40, Altona; Matthew K. Price, 29, Woodhull; Taylor M. Humes, 16, 1373 N. Cherry St.; and Kristine S. Snyder, 44, 279 Michigan Ave.
