ALEDO - Do you believe in ghosts? A group in Aledo is looking to help answer that question.

Mercer County Paranormal formed five years ago and now has six active members involved in investigations.

"We've investigated several different personal homes and businesses," said founder Brenda Boney of Aledo. "We're very confidential so we don't let out any information as far as if somebody doesn't want anyone to know about any thing."

The group has a Web site at www.mcparanormal.com.

"We have all the equipment, EMS detectors, all sorts of different things," Boney said.

The group is hosting a Haunted History Walk in downtown Aledo on Oct. 26, 27 and 31 and Nov. 1, 2 and 3. The cost is $10 per person with proceeds benefiting the Aledo Main Street program.

"It pertains to walking through different buildings and handing out ghost hunting equipment and you can make the decision whether it's haunted or not," Boney said.

To make reservations contact Boney at (309) 582-2735.
