GALESBURG - Christopher M. Sholl, 28, 1258 Brown Ave., was charged $171 in Knox County traffic court Thursday for loud stereo.

- Gayle A. Wells, 36, Avon, was charged $77 for speeding.

- Charged $75 were Kayla J. Norman, 18, 383 Knox Road 50E, Abingdon, speeding, and Lon K. Kennelly, 36, Yates City, improper lane usage. A charge of operating an uninsured vehicle against Kennelly was dismissed.

- Charged $55 for failure to wear a seat belt were Hillary J. Wallace, 20, 85 Edwards Ave., and Jerry L. Cato III, 23, 109 Oren Lane.
