GALESBURG - Jolene M. Burton, 39, 140 Blaine Ave., was charged $836 in Knox County traffic court Monday for operating an uninsured vehicle. A charge of failure to wear a seat belt was dismissed.

- Jerry W. Wildbahn, 16, Mackinaw, was charged $375 for drag racing.

- Edward A. Fleming, 49, Moline, was charged $290 for speeding.

- Michelle S. Dart, 34, 1007 E. South St., was charged $205 for no valid driver's license and $195 for operating an uninsured vehicle.

- Charles E. Calhoun, 41, 102 N. Austin, Abingdon, and Cole P. Benoit, 23, 1289 S. Kellogg St., were each charged $195 for operating an uninsured vehicle.

- Ronald B. Thurman, 16, St. Augustine, was charged $188 for speeding.

- Heather R. Jones, 19, 1228 Garden Lane, was charged $128 for failure to wear a seat belt.

- Amy K. Kennedy, 25, 964 Willard St., and Jennifer M. Duerre, 24, 212 W. North St., were each charged $55 for failure to wear a seat belt.

- A charge of operating an uninsured vehicle against Timothy W. Bennett, 19, Oneida, was dismissed.

- On Friday, Ryan A. Harders, 19, Roseville, was charged $248 for expired registration.

- Chris D. Vancil, 22, 2575 Grand Ave., was charged $195 for operating an uninsured vehicle.

- Julie A. Anderson, 30, 920 N. Seminary St., was charged $128 for failure to wear a seat belt. A charge of expired registration was dismissed.

- Dean E. Brasche, 56, 602 N. Front St., Abingdon, was charged $77 for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

- Charged $75 were Andrea M. Duke, 21, 1351 Carl Sandburg Drive, screeching tires; Travis W. Young, 18, 886 Knox Road 700N, illegal sound amplification; Jermaine R. McLaren, 17, 937 E. South St., speeding; Raymond A. Powell Jr., 22, 282 N. Pleasant Ave., disobeying a red light; Michelle D. Eiler, 34, 981 N. West St., speeding; Tyree Mondaine, 47, 1585 McKnight St., failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident; and Roy C. Foley, 63, Peoria, speeding.

- Charged $55 for failure to wear a seat belt were Andrew J. Seward, 35, 2392 155th St.; Louis Fontenot, 64, 914 W. Brooks St.; Dionicio F. Gutierrez, 36, 611 W. Second St.; Lynne M. Skinner, 50, 609 Fleisher Road; Gaven W. Jennings, 24, 1223 E. Losey St.; and Kyle J. Tracy, 19, 331 Country Elms Estates.

- Charges of operating an uninsured vehicle against Travis W. Simpson, 23, 912 Blaze Road, and Lindsey K. Anderson, 19, Alexis, were dismissed.

- A charge of disregarding a stop sign against Ryne A. Vonkannon, 18, 712 W. Jackson St., Abingdon, was dismissed.
