BIGGSVILLE - Two men and a juvenile were arrested after causing nearly $20,000 in damage to a Henderson County golf course.

Henderson County Sheriff Mark Lumbeck said Tristan R. Wheatley, 21, and Raymond L. Ware, 20, both of Biggsville, along with a 14-year-old juvenile were charged with criminal damage to property Wednesday morning.

Police say the group stole golf carts and damaged the greens at the Henderson County Hills Golf Course early Wednesday. Ten golf carts were found damaged and one was left in a nearby creek. Police said it appeared the vandals did doughnuts on the golf course, causing extensive damage to the greens.

Wheatley remains held in jail on a $10,000 bond. Ware posted 10 percent of a $5,000 bond and was released from custody. The juvenile was released to relatives.
