GALESBURG - The following businesses and governmental offices will be closed Monday to observe Memorial Day:
Financial institutions
Associated Bank, Community Bank of Galesburg, Farmers and Mechanics Bank, First Bank, First Midwest Bank, Gale Credit Union, Galesburg Banking Center, Galesburg Burlington Credit Union, Galesburg Midwest Employees Credit Union, Heritage Credit Union, Wells Fargo Bank.
Governmental Offices
Knox County Courthouse and Galesburg City Hall; Galesburg Post Office - no home delivery or window service, lobby will be open; Galesburg Driver's License facility; Galesburg Public Library.
Business
Refuse will not be collected, pickup will run a day behind the rest of the week; The Register-Mail will not be published and its offices will be closed; University of Illinois Extension - Knox County, regular office hours will resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
