Ralph M. Noble Unit 285, American Legion Auxiliary

GALESBURG - The Ralph M. Noble Unit 285, American Legion Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the American Legion Home, 571 E. North St. 20-60 Continuous year members will be honored. Hostesses are Gert Bent, Jackie Miller and Karen Mitchell.

ALEXIS - The Kelly Patches and Pans Home Extension meeting scheduled for Thursday has been moved to the home of Peg Chambers and Dola Boals.

Christmas in Action

GALESBURG - Christmas in Action will have its board meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday at Cherry Street Restaurant. Work days are April 26 and May 3.

GALESBURG - Galesburg Noon Rotary Club meets at noon Thursdays at the Broadview Restaurant.

VFW Post 2257

GALESBURG - VFW Post 2257 will have its monthly meeting the second Thursday of every month at 1001 Michigan Avenue. Soup and sandwiches will be served at 6 p.m., followed by a meeting at 7 p.m. Nomination of officers for 2008-2009 will be held at this meeting. All men who are members are urged to attend.

Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 2257

GALESBURG - Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 2257 have monthly meetings the second Thursday of each month at 1001 Michigan Avenue. Soup and sandwiches will be served at 6 p.m., followed by a meeting at 7 p.m. We are encouraging all ladies who are members to come as well as asking for new members. Grief Support Group

GALESBURG - OSF Hospice is offering a Grief Support Group from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. every Thursday. The group will meet at the OSF Home Care office, 3333 N. Seminary St. Deacon Jim Haneghan will facilitate the meetings, which are for anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one. It is free to the public and reservations are not required.
