Marilyn M. Young 1948-2008 Friday, February 8, 2008 GALESBURG - Mrs. Marilyn M. Young, 59, 161 N. Arthur Ave., died at 7:02 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 5, 2008) in Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.She was born Feb. 10, 1948, in Galesburg, the daughter of John and Helen A. Shults Young. She first married Robert Hampton. She then married Richard Kennedy. She later married Kevin D. Young on Feb. 14, 2004, in Las Vegas, Nev. She is survived by her mother, Helen Buskirk of Woodhull; one son, Douglas Hampton of San Diego, Calif.; one stepson, Sean Young of Eureka; one brother, James (Kathy) Young of White Lake, Mich.; and one sister, Carol Baldassire of Nashville, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her father. She worked for Lowe's and the Hy-Vee floral department. She graduated from Yates City High School in 1966. Visitation will be 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Cremation will be accorded.
