Wednesday, January 30, 2008OLYMPIA FIELDS - Harry B. Bainbridge, 82, Olympia Fields, died Sunday (Jan. 27, 2008).
Surviving are his wife, Janet K. (Larson) Bainbridge; two children, Jack (Mary Carol) Bainbridge and Amy (Richard) Wuthrich; five grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Mitchell.
He practiced law for 51 years and was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He was a former president of the Chicago Heights Rotary and former chairman of the plan commission for the Village of Olympia Fields.
He was a member of Phi Delta Theta and Phi Delta Phi Fraternity, the Illinois Bar Association, Chicago Heights Lodge 851 A.F. and A.M., Medinah Temple A.A.O.N.M.S., Sportsman's Club, Calumet Country Club and Gateway Club in Fort Myers, Fla., and Sam's Club.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Tews Funeral Home, Homewood (708-798-5300). Friends may call 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg.
