LAKELAND, Fla. - Avalon Mahr Roth, 86, Lakeland, Fla., formerly of the Kirkwood and Rozetta area, passed away Saturday (Jan. 19, 2008) at Savannah Court in Lakeland.

Among her children surviving in the area are her son, Robert Mahr and Janie in Bushnell, Ill.; and her daughter, Carolyn Johnson and Larry in Viola, Ill.

Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka, Ill. Interment will be in Biggsville Cemetery, Biggsville, Ill. The family will be present Saturday to receive friends at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

A memorial fund is being established for Rozetta Baptist Church, RR 1, Box 67, Little York, IL. Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka is in charge of local arrangements.
