LEXINGTON, Ky. - Diana A. Warren, 55, Lexington, Ky., passed away Dec. 26, 2007, at University of Kentucky Hospital. Cremation was accorded. Diana was born in Galesburg on April 22, 1952, the daughter of the late Ralph "Brigham" and Margaret Shaffmen Young. She attended local schools and graduated with honors from Carl Sandburg College. She was very active in Cub and Boy Scouts and Prairie Players.

She is survived by a son, Robert Zell of Lexington; sisters Mary Appell and Judy Young, both of Galesburg; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Before moving to Lexington, she was employed by Carl Sandburg College. She was of Methodist faith.

A celebration of her life will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 19 in the Knox Room at Broadview Restaurant.
