Robert H. Baird 1936-2007 Thursday, January 10, 2008 CLEARWATER, Fla. - Robert H. Baird, 71, formerly of Knoxville, died Dec. 16, 2007, in Clearwater, Fla.He was born Aug. 10, 1936, in Galesburg, to Herman and Inez Baird. He married Sheryl McCue on Aug.10, 1957. She survives. Also surviving is a son, Aron Baird of Largo, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers. Robert attended schools in the Knoxville and Galesburg area and was a longtime member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Knoxville. He was an Army veteran and had been stationed in Germany. He had worked at Arlans, Gambles and R and B Distributors before moving to Florida. He attended and was head custodian at Church of the Isles in Indian Rocks Beach, Fla., until retiring several years ago. Cremation was accorded. Service and burial in Knoxville Cemetery will be later.
