Shanes on 'Smackdown' tonight

GALESBURG - Two former Galesburg High School athletes are scheduled to appear on "WWE Friday Night Smackdown" from 7 to 9 p.m. today on WBQD-TV 26 (Cable channel 16 on Galesburg's Insight Communications).

Mike and Todd Shane, former tennis players at GHS, wrestle as The Geminis, according to their mother, Pat Lansing, and grandmother, Yvonne Indelicato. Lansing and Indelicato are Galesburg residents.

The twins are making their debut on "Smackdown," which is carried in this area on the UPN TV station in the Quad Cities. Tonight's event is in Philadelphia.
